French
On this page, I will be introducing a subject_French in our school. I will mainly just talk about French 11 and 12 as they are the same class. French 11 and 12 is a joint class, which means they are learning together in the same class. They are learning the same thing so if you are struggling how that works, they just simply learn together.
Introduction

What are different to grade8, 9, or 10 French?
Assignments/Projects
In this course, students will be exploring more deeply to the culture by consuming immersive media, like movies, songs, and stories. They are going to have a more advanced learning and study progress than in grade 10. They will not only have the simple communication in French, they will be exploring and digging into the French culture more deeply. Most of the time, students will be working individually. There will not be much team collaboratively working as in grade 8 to 10. The major projects are acting and presenting. Students will use what they have learned in the class to complete the projects, such as script-writing, act out stories and scenes, French restaurant, and analyzing songs by looking into lyrics, rhythm, and tunes.

In French 11 and 12, students have already passed the basic and foundation of French, which means they are learning something more advanced instead of the basic foundation, such as introducing self, basic conversations, writing, and reading. They are no longer in the basic sessions of French, they have already passed that level. This means, to take this course, students are expected to know the above, otherwise, it would be very difficult to take this course because it is not easy to catch up too.

Summary
In conclusion, taking French 11&12 is definitely a good option as we can learn deeply to the culture, not just only the basic grammar or vocabularies. Also, some universities do required students to take a second language course. In my opinion, it is the best to take French, not only because French is our second official language, but also French is a very common language and many people across the world speak it; it can for sure help students to communicate more conveniently with different people from different places. However, to take grade 11&12 French, students should first take grade 8 French to at least have some basic foundations and they can continue to build on their French skills along higher grades.
